Gary Williams Golf Invitational
The Gary Williams Invitational has been held annually for the past 18 years at the
University
of Maryland Golf Course. The 2007 Invitational was highlighted with many friends and guests of the Maryland Basketball program including Governor Robert Ehrlich and his wife Kendall, Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Biscotti, the voice of the Terps Johnny Holiday, as well as many other Terrapin supporters and fans. The first place trophies of this year's invitational went to:

The tournament features a chipping contest, hole in one contest, awards, and a buffet and live auction that follows the golf. The money raised from the tournament goes towards supporting the Maryland Men's Basketball Program. The contest winners of the year's tournament were:

The annual Gary Williams Golf Tournament raises money to endow scholarships for the basketball program. The tournament has raised more than $300,000 over nine years.
