Coach Williams has contributed to help many charities at the national and local levels raise money for their respective organization and cause. Below are some of the charity events that Coach Williams participates in annually and/or has participated in the past:

  • Coaches vs. Cancer: Coach Williams is an active member of the Coaches vs. Cancer organization, and has been able to help their organization raise dollars through many events such as the annual Coaches vs. Cancer – which is run in conjunction with the American Cancer Society - breakfast at the Comcast Center on campus at University of Maryland.

  • Bone Marrow Foundation: Coach Williams has annually participated in the celebrity golf tournament that helps raise money for the Bone Marrow Foundation in Florida. For more information go to http://www.bonemarrow.org/

  • Autism: Coach Williams has participated in the Autism Speaks, Walk for Autism that goes on annually in the DC area. Additionally, he will be chairing the Autism Speak Golf Classic on October 8, 2007. For more information go to http://www.autismspeaks.org/

  • Cystic Fibrosis: Coach Williams participated as the honorary chairman of the 19th Annual Benefit Concert for Cystic Fibrosis as well as appeared alongside former Governor Bob & Mrs. Kendel Ehrlich on stage. For more information go to http://www.cff.org/

  • Bruce Edwards ALS Research Foundation: Coach Williams is an annual participant of the Bruce Edwards FBR Celebrity Golf Classic The proceeds from the tournament are helping to fund the Bruce Edwards foundation which provides funds to medical research facilities dedicated to slowing the progression of and finding a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.   • Sean McDonough Charitable Foundation: Coach Williams is annual participant in the annual celebrity golf event in Massachusetts. The Sean McDonough Foundation has the goal of raising and distributing funds to children's charities throughout Massachusetts.   • Salvation Army: Coach Williams has in the past chaired the annual Salvation Army's FORE Kids golf tournament. This Tournament is dedicated to improving the lives of children in the community. The support and participation ensures that children will continue to receive the help they need. For more that 100 years, The Salvation Army has been meeting needs in the national capital area.
